Coffee in an Artgirl mug, sunshine outside: a lovely start to the day. As we head into the Easter Triduum, things are quiet. I don't have much on, other than to make dinner for early this evening, before Mass, and to tie up a few details for the Substack, which I don't intend to touch at all for the next few days.
Wearing:
*Wool& Maggie (M/Long) in Marine Blue, bought May 2022
*The very old 25-cent cotton cardigan
*Secondhand Allbirds tencel-merino leggings, bought January or February 2024
*Secondhand Keens Mary Janes, bought January 2024
A pretty basic, boring outfit for a day of dog-walking, cleaning, and cooking. I'll dress it up tonight (maybe a photo will be forthcoming, maybe not) with boots and, since it's a white/gold vestments night, the champagne-beige long cardigan I wore to the Chrism Mass on Tuesday.
The aforementioned forthcoming evening dinner/Mass outfit photo:
All I did was change my cardigan and shoes and pull back the front of my hair.
Obviously this isn't Easter finery yet. But it's so marvelous, every year, to launch into the Triduum with a festal Mass, and a festal dinner to precede it.
And maybe just a touch of at-least-it's-not-purple.
