Hickory, North Carolina, last night in rain and sun.
My packing: a bag of anthologies and shoes, a daypack with two dresses + cardigan + underwear + toiletries.
Waiting for persons of interest to put their things in the car.
AND wearing today, in a big surprise reveal:
The exact same outfit I wore yesterday, but with better, cleaner hair. Last night I wore this dress and Birks with my big duster-length gray cardigan out to dinner, because the restaurant is always cold, and even outside the weather wasn't hot at all. That cardigan has been in and out of the outbox because it's so big, but for now I'm opting to keep it, because it is a very nice cardigan, and it is the only one I have in that useful length. If I happen across another when I'm buying again, I might snap it up and move this one along to someone whom it will fit better than it fits me, but for now it's okay, and I'm glad to have it.
Time to play Wordle, then walk the dog, then HOPEFULLY hit the road, not that I've seen any sign of my passengers yet . . .
