Ruth Pitter. The rest of this potent little poem:
Today: various to-do items, but mostly preparing for some old friends (actually my husband's grad-school friend and his wife) to drop by in the afternoon, after which my husband and I will go up the mountain for a bluegrass evening at a general store along Highway 321.
Wearing:
My gray Sierra and wet hair, for this penultimate day of my July 4/3 Challenge. Blue EVA Birks on my feet.
Clean bathroom:
Not sure what else of note I will accomplish today, but I have accomplished this.
LATER: Still waiting for friends to arrive, husband not feeling bluegrass evening (to be honest, neither was I).Dry hair feeling pretty nice:
Note to self: always use the gel. I have it emulsified in water in a spray bottle, so I spray that onto my hands and smooth/rake it through my hair while it's wet. It really does cut down on a lot of frizz and helps my waves hold their shape. No fancy wash routine, no long list of products and techniques: just shampoo, conditioner, gel.
EVEN LATER:
Welp, the weather wasn't feeling an outdoor music event, either, so it's just as well we stayed home. A lot drier this way.
