THE HUNDRED-DAYS' DRESS: DAY 30

 Goodbye to all that.

Dressed for the road, and a week of hello and goodbye.

Drinking coffee, waking up, waiting for people to finish slinging their belongings into the trailer, putting on a brave face. Last night I kept imagining the feelings of people spending their last night at home, before life changes utterly. Of course, I also kept imagining the feelings of a person whose children were upstairs spending the last night of their childhood at home. People do keep telling me I'm going to enjoy all this more than I think I will.

Anyway, Camellia with thrifted duck-egg-blue shirt and blue EVA Birks. I did indeed pack what I said I'd pack, plus one pair of navy leggings. It did all fit in the little blue-and-white daypack. I have some Granny's stain remover in my purse for emergencies, and a spray bottle of vodka to refresh anything that needs refreshing*.

And off we shall go.

*Not me. I don't drink vodka.
